This particular quote stuck out to me because it is easily overlooked and not considered at times. It is the the most basic rule of design and should be Rule #1 on all manifestos. Each poster was inked and hand-cranked through a prepress letterpress using woodblock type that is most likely over a hundred years old. Working day and night, we wheat pasted a 40-foot world map made out of old GAP bags, manually installed a panel that consisted of about 5,000 jean rivets, wheat pasted custom interiors for all 18 dressing rooms, assisted in the installation of several neon signs and hand-painted signage, and hung a huge CA state flag made out of denim.
